Polish to bright finish
Using an ultrasonic cleansing bath to remove dust, oils, grease, and dirt from the jewelry, it is then buffed to a high polish, and then steam cleaned under high pressure to remove all excess materials and surface contaminants leaving a high luster to your jewelry.
Florentine finish
After the jewelry is cleaned it is then buffed with a special compound dipped abrasive wheel that leaves the familiar Florentine criss cross finish. Care is then taken not when polishing not undo the refinished surface, and a steam cleaning brings all the detail into sharp focus.
Satin-brush finish
A finer compound and felt wheel is used to remove surface abrasions and remove any imperfections. The jewelry is then cleansed to remove any residual compounds and polished to give it that soft glow.
Stone wheel finish
A more aggressive but extremely satisfying treatment to jewelry that is prone to attracting dirt because of cracks and crevasses. The jewelry is meticulously cleaned and treated to an ultrasonic bath where any compounds and surface build up can be removed before the piece is treated to a buffing to bring out it’s natural sheen.
Polish chains
Care is always given when polishing chains so that the links are not stressed and pulled apart. It takes an expert hand to thoroughly clean a chain to make it look like new. After soaking in the ultrasonic cleaner, the chain is polished using a mixture of compounds, buffing wheels, and hand polishing. The final step is to steam the chain for good measure, making sure it is completely free from dirt.
Rhodium ring & refinish
A wonderful technique to brighten rings and give them a mirror like finish after the initial cleaning and polishing. Always recommended for two tone rings and plated rings.
Sandblast & refinish
Sandblasting is reserved for special pieces that require a more intensive cleaning to restore it brilliance. The process strips away layers of embedded dirt, oxidations, unwanted enamels, coatings, and any additions that were added over the years that may have faded the finish of the jewelry through time.
Re-Antique ring
Often used to “re-black” school rings or any piece of jewelry that looks has a natural or chemical patina. The surface is stripped, cleaned, and then re-antiqued by hand. After this, the piece undergoes careful polishing by hand to make sure the right amount of patina is left and that the work enhances the art.
